Mr. Nose is the Chairman of the Benkei Group of companies. The Nose family has been in the restaurant business for over 60 years with restaurants in Japan, Toronto, and now in Vancouver. A recent New York Times article compared the Japanese love of Ramen to the combined love of pizza, hot dogs, hamburgers and southern barbeque! Mr Nose’s dream is a little less ambitious, he only wants to introduce this wonderful Japanese Ramen phenomena to mainstream North Americans starting with Vancouver and for it to be as popular as "pizza pie"!

Minako is the chief executive officer of the Benkei group of companies. Her attention to details and infinite energy is the reason why Benkei Ramen have received some of the best reviews by local food critics. Ms. Yanagida strives to continue to improve the operations of all of Benkei’s restaurants and to make sure that all of Benkei’s customers are well served and well fed. She looks forward to hearing customers’ comments to help her to continue to set the highest standard for all of Benkei’s restaurants.

Allan is the general manager for the Benkei group of companies. He has been in the restaurant business for over 36 years. His focus at Benkei is the co-ordination of the opening of new restaurants. However, you will still see him working the front of the line from time to time at the various Benkei restaurants, as it's his passion to see happy and satisfied customers.
